I was finally able to download the erase image. But, it does not fix the
problem. After running the erase, all the updates still fail with
"Prepare IDB". I tried all of this using Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows. On
Linux, I tried it with various versions of upgrade_tool and rkdeveloptool.

, Android no longer loads onto the device. All updates fail with IDB problems. I have not found any tools which will clear the error and allow anything to be stored into the EMMC.
